Tigers Roar into action

PPiK welcomed down Castleford Tigers Rugby League squad to hold a team bonding session prior to their biggest game all season - The RL National One Grand Final! The squad, made up of first team players, subs and coaching staff enjoyed a morning racing on circuit before visiting the Headingley stadium where the game against Widnes Vikings was played.

The karting event was a team endurance format, perfect for sports teams and groups to work out a race strategy and try and complete the most number of laps possible within the time. Head coach Terry Matterson eventually took the winner’s trophy along with Ryan McGoldrick after a hard fought battle to the line, all the competitors had their results & trophy presentation in the bar which was televised for Look North.

Castleford Tigers then went on to win the Grand Final the week after, and PPiK would like to congratulate all the lads for an amazing effort to get back into the Super League next season!
