The PPiK Lotus Exige has been competing all season in the Lotus On Track Elise Trophy Championship. The orange Exige, driven by owner Gavin Kirby has had a fantastic season, which all kicked off with Gavin aka Tarmac Terrorist, beating the Stig's lap time on the Top Gear circuit. The 2007 season has seen some exciting racing, with Gavin picking up well deserved class wins at most rounds at circuits such as Silverstone, Oulton Park, Snetterton and Brands Hatch. One highlight back in June was where the Lotus series supported the amazing DTM machines over from Germany at Brands Hatch. See the gallery for some pictures from that event.
PPiK were proud to sponsor one round outright at Donnington Park in September. The car had a new PPiK livery as well as all competitors having PPiK logos on the front of their race machines. Gavin had his best race all year with guest driver, Martin Donnelly. Martin is an ex works Lotus F1 driver and the two drivers battled hard to the line.

The final round is at Brands Hatch on November 10th and 11th where Gavin hopes to secure his class win and take the championship. We'll have more news and pictures at the end of the season.
