Pole Position Indoor Karting (PPiK) and three well known charities have joined forces to find the fastest Corporate Race Team in Leeds. Enjoying the thrills, spills and buzz of Indoor Karting is an experience to savour, but when you’re doing it to help good causes, it’s twice the pleasure. We’re aiming to raise £10,000 for our Leeds-based partner charities: St George’s Crypt, the Yorkshire Cancer Centre and the fantastic Radio Aire’s Cash For Kids.

How it works

Corporate teams enter for free. Anyone can race under a company name, including friends and families. All drivers must be aged 16+. A minimum sponsorship of at least £200 is required per team. Sign up & register online at www.PPiK.net for dates & sponsor forms to be sent out to you. Companies can enter as many teams as they wish.

The Charities

St George’s Crypt – has been providing care and support to homeless, disadvantaged and vulnerable people from across Yorkshire since 1930. The Yorkshire Cancer Centre – raises funds for St James’s Institute of Oncology, to improve the outcomes of cancer treatment for cancer patients in Yorkshire. Radio Aire’s Cash for Kids – raises money to benefit sick, disabled and underprivileged children in West Yorkshire, providing a better and brighter future for some of the most deserving children in our communities.

The Racing

With pit stops and changes, it’s a Team Endurance Race with three or four drivers in each team taking on 1.5 hours of non stop action. Trophies will be presented at the end of the race. There’ll be time for drinks, food and networking in the bar after the race.

The Final

The final is 2 hours non-stop racing action. With celebrity drivers in each team and the media will be there to cover the action, there will be a charity presentation at the end with the Leeds Corporate Cup awarded to the winning team! Then, the after-race party with music,food and drinks.

When it happens

Heat races take place in the early evening on the following dates in July. With the Corporate Cup Final taking place on Thursday 30th July.
